Gamma Phi Facts

Our chapter is the most affordable sorority on SLU's campus.

We are also the oldest established Panhellenic chapter on SLU's campus and we have been on campus for over 50 years.

We aren't just a national sorority! Gamma Phi Beta is international with over 140 chapters, including chapters in Canada!

Our sorority colors are brown, mode (light brown) and pink.

The official symbol of Gamma Phi is the crescent moon and the official flower is the pink carnation. The official stone is the pearl.

Gamma Phi Beta was the first women's Greek organization to be called a "sorority" and the term was created for Gamma Phi. Organizations founded before Gamma Phi were referred to as "women's fraternities"
